What’s the advantage of purchasing window coverings from you?

Advantage Window Coverings is locally owned and operated. Having been in operation since 1994, I know all aspects of the window covering business, I have expert product knowledge, and I pay special attention to what you want and to your requirements. By buying locally you have the benefit of knowing that I am here to address your needs promptly and with care – not to mention that you help support and build the local economy.

How do your prices compare?

I have very competitive prices based on a combination of quality products, excellent service, superior product knowledge and top-notch installation. I take great pride in making sure you get the colors and styles that are just right for you and ensuring the job is done right the first time!

Do you provide installation?

Yes! I provide installation on all jobs. My installer Brent is the best in the business. He’s professional, well organized, and neat and tidy. Advantage Window Coverings also offers repairs on all kinds of blinds and shades.

Aren’t all window coverings the same?

Window fashions are more complex than you might think. Many questions arise when I come to your home. How you will use your window coverings? How often you will operate them? Are there children or pets in the home?  Other important issues address safety features, insulation, different lift systems, and what side of the window you might want the controls located. These are all important details that I pay attention to and it is important to get them right.
With custom window fashions exact, knowledgeable measuring and installation are critical; especially for inside mount situations and shutters. Many homes have imperfections in window shapes or hand cranks to consider and all of these factors need to be dealt with up front to ensure everything going to fit perfectly.

Do I pay a deposit?

Usually, I request a 50% deposit at the time you place the order with the balance due when your order is fully installed and the job completed.

How long does it take to get my order? 

Orders are custom-made just for you and generally take two weeks or less to arrive. Once you place your order I will keep you regularly informed so you know what to expect time-wise for installation. A paid Rush Order can also be requested if necessary.

What is the best way to get started?

The best way to get started is by giving me a call or sending an email. I will then make an appointment to come and see you – that way I can take measurements and show you samples of products in the comfort and surroundings of your home. This is the best way for you to see and understand what products will be just right for your unique situation. If you need suggestions, tips, or ideas I can help you with that, too.

What products do you carry?

I carry the full Hunter Douglas Window Fashions line. This includes all the very latest products and trends. I also carry many other brands at various price points to best match your budget.
